Congratulations to Omar Daal, Seville’s  2016 Player of the Year!

I’m certain that we will have vacating ceremonies for Omar to take over Mr. Ewing’s parking spot.  Great 2 days of golf, and a great year for the Seville Mens Golf Association.  Thank you all for your support!  Have a great holiday, and see you all in January for the start of the 2017 Player of the year!

As you hopefully know, the Seville Mens Golf Association started 4 new year-long competitions for 2016.  These are Ultimate Round (Gross and Net) as well as Ultimate Skins (Gross and Net).  Sign-ups deadline was in January for existing members, but new members may join throughout the year.

The contests run from the beginning of the year, until the last week of Mens Club, which is usually the Saturday before Thanksgiving.  All Mens Club events that have hole-by-hole scoring are eligible.

The scoring for the events, is now live!  Please see the new menu on this site called “Ultimate Games”.  As you look at the standings, remember that tables are sortable.  Just click on the headers, and the table  will sort ascending / descending.  Take a look at the Ultimate Skins for example.  There are no Gross skins currently.  If you want to see who capped your Eagle on #5, click on the header for the #5 hole.

Enjoy, and let me know if you have any issues/questions.  I know that many of  you use phones to access the site.  If you put your device in landscape (especially when viewing skins) you will be able to see things much better.

The next phase of the web site will try to optimize for mobile viewing.   Volunteers that know how to code in PHP, javascript, CSS and SQL are always welcome!
