The weather as well as the putting were hot during the first SWGC & SMGA mixed, double elimination, scramble putting tournament. It was a great turnout and atmosphere, with beer\/wine refreshments served to the participants and music pumped in over the clubhouse speakers. Both the double elimination putting contest and the consolation progressive putting contest kept everyone busy for the afternoon. Some great battles with the final putt determining several of the matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


But as with every contest there are winners, and Todd Swenddal & Alicia Crowe<\/strong> took 1st place by fighting off a comeback surge by Allen & Leanne Lacey<\/strong> from the loser\u2019s bracket.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Again, it was a great outing, and we hope we can do this again in the fall.,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
